Desecration: Illegals Trample American and State Flags

I have never served my country in uniform. I have never had to sacrifice to keep it free. However, this made my blood boil. I received this in an email today, and I am publishing it in its unedited form. The pictures say so much about the lack of respect this human trash has for our country, her flag, and the people who died for it. I have nothing further to say beyond what the photos say (author's note: I received everything below in an email, and all the follwing is quoted. I do not know who took these pictures, nor can I corroborate the quotes):

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If anyone has any doubts about what these illegals think of us and our country, check out these pictures taken by an acquaintance of mine who went to the rally in Phoenix Saturday 7/31/10 in response to SB 1070. The illegals had written all over the AZ and US Flags, laid them on the ground, and were walking on them!

Another acquaintance had this to say:
"I shared those pics with my Best friend who is a cop/detective. I asked him why nobody was punished for desecrating our flags...his response.....

"In response to your question about the legality of Desecration of the American Flag, you are correct, this is illegal. However, it is a crime with the Federal Government. Meaning the Feds will have to prosecute for the crime and considering they will not prosecute for illegal trespassing into the Country, what makes you think they will prosecute anyone for spray painting and walking on an American flag?????"

Permission was given from the person that took these pictures to pass them around. They're being sent to some news stations as well, although doubtful they'll air them. So please pass these around to all those you know, let people see how the illegals who broke our laws by coming here really feel about us!

Mexico Consulate Officials Patrol Staten Island to Protect Mexican Citizens

Police are investigating another assault on a Hispanic man in Staten Island as a possible hate crime -- and the Mexican government is now getting involved as well.

Five men attacked the 40-year-old Mexican man Friday night as he was walking home after a soccer game at Faber Park, cop said. The attackers allegedly pummeled him while yelling anti-Mexican epithets. The man suffered head trauma, a fractured jaw and needed ten stitches above his eye, officials said.
The group of men made off with his backpack.

According to the Advance, this latest incident has promoted the Mexican Consulate to post personnel in Staten Island until further notice. This move is an effort to safeguard the rights of individuals and effectively assist and provide information to the Mexican residents of this area.

(For the article referred to in this blog post, please go to http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local-beat/Mexican-Man-Pummeled-in-Latest-Staten-Island-Hate-Attack-99325314.html)

There are several issues I could refer to in this article, but I would like to focus on this aspect of the article: the Mexican Consulate is going to post patrols at Staten Island to protect MEXICAN RESIDENTS of this area.

Why is it a foreign country (Mexico) is allowed to make patrols in a particular state (New York), yet one of our states (Arizona) is catching flak for trying to keep illegals (mainly from Mexico) out?

Where is the logic? Whatever happened to taking care of sovereign territory?

It is wrong to assault anyone, or to take the law into your own hands, but allowing Mexico to patrol in this manner is wrong also. Will we tolerate UN patrols in the United States if we are sanctioned by the UN?

Common sense has flown out the window. We the CONSERVATIVE people of the United States need to take our country back.

This Tax Payer is Ticked Off

I took my son to a 4-H cooking class today, held at the Maury County Health Department. We paid a very small fee, $10.00, to participate.

Because I am already paying taxes, I thought I would check on getting my newborn's shots there.

The fee is based on income. I have no problem with that, for the most part. My part would be 95% of the cost of the shot.

However, I felt compelled to ask, "If an illegal immigrant comes in and asks for childhood immunizations, are they free for them, though they are here illegally?"

The receptionist, who was so sweet, by the way, a really nice person, gave me an apologetic look, raised her eyebrows, scrunched her nose, and said, "Yes, sir, I'm afraid so, sir."

I said, "That pisses me off. I understand it is not your fault, and I am not mad with you, but it isn't right! I have paid my taxes, I am here legally, contributing to society, and this illegal alien who does not work or pay taxes can just waltz in and get the shots? So I have to pay 95% of the cost of my newborn's immunizations, still pay my taxes, while this non-tax-paying illegal gets them for free? I am essentially paying for the shot 2 or 3 times! Is that what I am hearing?"

"Yes, sir, I'm sorry sir."

This whole scheme is indefensible.

This is why the Tea Party exists, and why I am going to join it as soon as I can.

The Parable of the Ink Pens

Here is a simplified point of view of the principle of federally mandated health insurance:

I have on my desk a Sanford Uniball Micro rollerball ink pen (black).
It costs roughly $.75, or $1.50 + tax for a pack of two.

The government says, "We believe everyone's work would improve if they had a Sanford Uniball Micro rollerball ink pen. We require you purchase 10 packs of these pens for a year's supply (that's $15.00/year, + tax), and that you purchase the blue ink pen." Pretty cheap, huh?

However, I want to be able to choose my own pen. I want a different color, black, but the government says I have to buy blue. I refuse, and I pay a fine for not purchasing the blue pen, and I have no choice in the matter.

Ok, I'll just use my PC and go paperless. What's that? I HAVE to buy them anyway, though I now no longer need it? Why?

What if I write my notes in shorthand, and I need 5 packs instead of 10, because I don't need to buy 10? Oh. I still have to buy 10. And I neither need or want the 10. I get five more pens than I need.

At the end of ten years, I have 50 pens I have purchased, with five more per year I will not use, and I will never use, because my government told I had to buy them. In other words, I spent $75 on pens I will never use, and as they get older become unusable (ink dries out, dry rot, etc.). Not only that, my pens are non-transferable. I can't give the pens away or sell my excess pens.

Each year I get angrier because my government forces me to purchase pens I don't like, in quantities that don't suit my needs, and can never be utilized if I do not use them.

Preposterous, you say? Well, no more preposterous than what is now law regarding insurance.

The 2010 Census

I went online and looked at the 2010 Census questions at http://2010.census.gov/2010census/how/interactive-form.php. The hullabaloo over the questions is really much ado about nothing. I compared the form with other past forms at http://genealogygenius.com/UScensusform1930.aspx, and it really essentially the same form, only modernized. Given that other forms counted slaves owned, it a less offensive form than others the government has created in the past. I will happily fill it out, as it is shorter than most other census forms.

However, I have heard of the pre-census surveys sent out to randomly selected citizens. The questions asked on this form are definitely intrusive, such as "what time do you leave for work?" No one I know has received this form, and if I do, I will not fill it out- it is not required by the Constitution, and if what I hear is true, it is rather intrusive. I went to the site and found the survey section at http://www.census.gov/survey_participants/, but there is no straight answer about whether or not a citizen is required to fill out the form when I go to this link: http://www.census.gov/survey_participants/household_surveys/am_i_required_to_participate_in_this_household_survey.html. So in a nut shell,

Census 2010: Good, will fill out
Pre-Census random survey: Bad, will not fill out

True Radicals- Do Any Exist Anymore?

I was talking to someone the other day who is of the more liberal persuasion. He said he is afraid many Americans are becoming "radicalized". I asked him, "How do you mean?" To which he said, "They are buying weapons and ammo by the bucket full as if they are ready to fight our own government."

This statement has haunted me since the day he said it. What bothers me is not that he has observed an increase in sales of firearms and ammunition. It isn't that he thinks Americans are becoming radical. What bothers me is the total lack of recognition of how "radical" our forefathers had to be to shake off the chains of tyranny.

As you know, Thomas Jefferson made some interesting and famous statements regarding liberty and tyranny. Here are a few:

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
"Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state."
"...a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they (the subjects of King George, Americans) should declare the causes which impel them to the separation (from England)."

Thomas Jefferson knew that in order to gain, keep, and maintain liberty, blood must be shed. This was once common knowledge agreed upon even by his political foes. However, this view is now viewed as fringe extremism. Pacifism toward tyranny is a perversion. Americans who are simply content to allow governmental tyranny in the form of government control of health care, UN usurpation of US sovereignty, global warming policies and the like are nothing but spoiled, fattened children who confuse the abundance of prosperity with the beautiful hardship of liberty.

It is a dangerous thing to not recognize that our elected officials can be domestic enemies. However, it is even more dangerous for the populace to recognize it and then do nothing. I am afraid for my country. If there is no revolution in the ballot box, and we fall completely under tyranny, I can forsee the "extreme" elements of our country taking up arms to restore this country. If they do, they will simply be watering the wilting tree of liberty.

Do I desire this? No, absolutely not. What I desire is for our elected leaders to govern, not rule; to govern in the best interests of the people, performing their roles as representatives of the people and the states, rather than perverting their roles and turning them into positions of power over the masses.

I pray for a ballot revolution in 2010 and 2012. God, may it be so.

Shades of the Past

There is a Youtube video making the rounds right now. It is called "I Pledge". At the end, the voices unanimously agree to be "servants to the president". It can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqcPA1ysSbw. What gives me chills is how this video stirs echoes of the past, and not the sweet, mystic chords of memory, either.

Note this Nazi propaganda poster:

By conservatarian at 2009-09-11

The writing translates to this:

My Fuhrer (Leader)!

(The Child Speaks)

I know you well and love you, like father and mother.
I shall always obey you, like father and mother.
And when I grow up I shall help you, like father and mother.
And you will be proud of me, like father and mother!

The video on Youtube shows how some in this country are giving a level of allegiance and outright love to a leader. That this is happening is scary and abhorrent. America, we must wake up to what is happening. Obama as the leader is scary enough. Imagine those who love Obama and are willing to serve him mobilizing en masse against those who do not support him. If you think that it won't or can't happen, just ask any of the survivors of Hitler's holocaust.

And Obama's supporters wonder conservative-minded parents don't want their children to watch Obama's message to the kinder, oops, children.
